Prof. Adam. F. Lee visited our laboratory in the afternoon of November 14th. Prof. Aiqing Wang and associate Prof. Xiaoyan Liu hosted him and showed him around our laboratory.

Prof. Lee got his PhD in Surface Science and Catalysis (1995) from the University of Cambridge and now serves in the department of Physical Chemistry at Cardiff University as a Professor. As a young scientist, Prof. Lee won a lot of honors in the field of surface and vacuum science, green chemistry, and synchrotron science. His expertise spans to heterogeneous catalysis, nanoparticles and nanoporous solids, and in-situ and operando techniques. Prof. Lee was invited to give a lecture in our lab on the operando DRIFT/MS/XAS studies of nanocatalysts. After discussion, Prof. Wang gave an introduction of the researches in our group. There are many common interests between Prof. Lee’s group and our group. At the end of this visit, Prof. Lee and Prof. Wang are glad to develop further and deeper cooperation in the future, and make a great use of both sides advantages.
