李宁研究员于2004年在中国科学院大连化学物理研究所获得博士。2005-2010年先后在法国里昂催化与环境研究所以及美国马萨诸塞大学做博士后。2010年作为所百人计划引进人才加入中国科学院大连化学物理研究所。目前主要从事木质纤维素催化转化合成可再生航油和高附加值化学品的研究。
