The 14th National Symposium of Catalysis was held in Nanjing from 14th to 18th of October, and the Symposium was organized by the Catalysis Committee of Chinese Chemical Society, Nanjing University and Shanghai Research Institute of Petrochemical Technology. Nine people, including Prof. Tao Zhang, 4 staff scientists and 4 graduates of our group, participated the Symposium.

At the opening ceremony in 15th of October, Prof. Tao Zhang was awarded the Youth Prize of Chinese Catalysis, to encourage the outstanding achievement he has made in expanding the application of the catalyst in the and field. And Prof. Tao Zhang was invited to deliver a lecture on the preparation, characterization and application of catalysts in the Symposium. The scientists and graduates in our group gave 5 oral presentation and 8 posters.
